Copper Chromium C18200, RWMA Class 2, AWS J1.3

Copper Chromium is the primary copper alloy used for resistance spot and seam welding. This alloy achieves good hardness and electrical conductivity through a combination of heat treatment and cold work. It is widely utilized for electrodes, holders, adaptors, as well as numerous electrical applications where resistance to deformation at high temperature is required or when higher mechanical properties than C11000 are required.

What is C182 Copper? Also known as chromium copper it offers excellent conductivity, weldability, and workability. This material excels with cold working, and it can be hot worked but it should be annealed again afterward and rapidly quenched.

What is Chromium Copper? Chromium copper alloys are high copper alloys that contain 0.6 to 1.2% chromium, and the balance is high quality copper. The chromium copper alloys are used for their high strength, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. Great for spot and seam welding.
